Happy Sunday!  If you are like us, you've probably spent most of your weekend deleting nude photos from your iCloud account.  You're probably also double-checking your fantasy football lineups since Week 1 of the 2014 NFL Season is finally upon us!  Of course, that means that all 32 teams start the year with a blank slate, so unless you are a Jackonsville Jaguars or Oakland Raiders fan, your team still has at least a slim chance to make it to the Super Bowl.

Yes, the big entertainment news of the week was the iCloud hack job on the private accounts of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence,Kate Upton and Jenny McCarthy.  Like most men across the United States, we are completely outtraged.  And although we appreciate the ongoing support, we strongly recommend iCloud users refrain from using "ilovekoffeehouse" as their password.  If these A-listers truly want to guarantee their scandalous photos disappear, why don't they just host their sensitive information on Lois Lerner's hard drive?

Of course, what you really wanted to know is that the 12-week Koffeehouse Singer Songwriter Series and Competition is officially underway at Vitello's in Studio City! Last week, some of LA's most talented artists helped us launch the competition, with the uber--talented Brian Walker topping the  judges' scorecards and moving on the semi-final rounds in November.  If you weren't able to join us for Week 1, we hope you can join us for Week 2 when Emily Rath, JC Villafan, Erick Macek and Zaiya square off.
