Nicole Lexi Davis:
Nicole Lexi Davis is an acoustic folk/rock songwriter from Los Angeles, CA. She has toured across the eastern and southern United States from Boston, MA to St. Petersburg, Florida as well as in the southwest and the islands of Hawaii.
Her minimalist yet evocative melodies often capture the feel of 70's songwriter greats like Joni Mitchell and Carol King with subtle alt country undertones. Following in their footsteps, she offers a unique throwback vibe in her acoustic steel string and piano driven songs.
Today, Nicole regularly performs at many of LA's most popular bars and clubs and continues to record and engineer herself and other artists. Her self-produced premier album entitled "Picture Imperfect" was released digitally July 1st, 2012 and is available everywhere MP3's are sold.
Prior to the production of her full-length album, she cut several short EPs, "Terminal Butterfly EP" and "Five Song EP" are still available for download and hard copy purchase. In 2009, she also recorded a live performance album at West Hollywood music venue Genghis Cohen entitled "Live At Genghis."
Born in a village home to more sheep than people, UK artist Jen Armstrong didn't have the most competitive of starts. This gave her a shock when, moving to Leeds to study a degree in pop music she realised that actually, she wasn't the only person who could write songs and sing them well. Luckily, she has developed a unique pop / rock style with catchy, tongue in cheek lyrics coupled with a beautifully powerful vocal which gives her the edge over the usual pop songwriters.??
Jen visited LA to write and perform throughout 2012, and wrote in Scandinavia August 2012 and January 2013 with various writing teams.?? She released her debut EP in June 2012, with a launch in Leeds, which was a storming success. Her new EP was released September 2012, launching in style with a tour with Caffé Nero. She supported Billy Ocean at Grassington Festival, and Jools Holland at Cornbury Festival over the summer.??
One of Jen's most recent successes was winning 'Rock the House' at the House of Commons in London.?? 2013 looks to be a very exciting year for this determined British artist. ?????
This 20yr old singer/songwriter will surprise you with her bright, soulful vocals and in depth lyrics that belie her young age. Alaina's sounds are influenced with tinges of her favorite artists, Joss Stone, Grace Potter, and Miranda Lambert.
Alaina released her debut EP entitled “Gypsy Girl” Dec. 2012 and is currently finishing her second CD, due out in January 2013. Both are produced by songwriter/musician Billy Alexander (FEEL, John Waite) and was the result of initial writing sessions.
.“Gypsy Girl” is available in the form of CDs and on download from iTunes and bandcamp.com. For more updates, videos, and pictures check Alaina Blair Music on Facebook or alainablair.com.
